Wang Foo,
Are you for real ?
Are you really chinese ?
Most Chinese understand the value of " commercial business".
It is good for the breed because if no one is making money producing the best of the best of the GSD dog then surely the incentive to do so will be limited to a few hobbyist with no means or strength to really promote the breed in a meaningful way.
Anyway, I find it difficult to believe that you are emailing from China as everyone knows about the politics, corruption and money making antics of the people in China that are involved with GSD. compare that to what goes on in the USA and you are looking at a much better situation.
In fact , it is so much better that it is not even comparable. By the way, where is the past president of the SV China at these days ? if you know the answer you will also know more about the situation in China.
we should applaud the big kennels in the USA as they promote the breed .yes they are there to make money too but what is worng with that. This is free enterprise and the Capitalist system and it is good for everyone in the long run as those that compete poorly will not survive and those that do well will survive and in the end it should be good for the breed as long as what the public wants are quality breed GSD. So, I see this having a huge benefit to the breed over the long run as the breeders will be forced to breed what the public wants
In my opinion the last tread was removed because of obvious mean and ,unproductive bashing of a proven reputable breeder that appeared to be based out of jealousy or private personal grievance that has nothing to do with us on this board.
Wang, whoever you are ( as i do not think you are a chinese from China) I wish you the best of luck with your dogs (whoever they maybe) and I hope that you can find peace and fortune in your life among any of the German Shepherd Dogs that you may own.

Sunshine
Thanks for the info about Galaxy. I Love to hear stories like this. I believe all of us with GSD's can relate to your feelings and the passion you feel for your Dogs.
It is no surprise that Galaxy turned out well as his pedigree is pretty impressive, although that is no guarantee but it sure helps.
Of course besides that it takes the love and dedication of the owner and the many hours of training and planning for a dog to become successful at a show. However, i feel the most important ingreident is the love you give your dog because if you have all the same effort going into two dogs and one has that true unconditional love that you feel toward galaxy and the other does not ,then I surely would put my money on the dog that is really loved full time.
Sunshine, you are a encouragement to all the no name keenels and pure lovers and hobbyist of the GSD.
I wish you great success in St. Louis.
by the way you said that Galaxy saved your life. Did you mean that as a figure of speech or is there another good story about that ?
If so, I am sure eveyone would like to hear if it is not too personal.

When Galaxy came home in the Fall of 2006, he settled back into homelife well. Around Christmastime last year he developed what to me was mysterious behavior. He kept repeatedly indicating toward my right breast. His indication was a pain in the chest so to speak. This curious behavior developed to more "signs" in late January, as at night he would lay his body along my right side with his muzzle close to my armpit and would not move despite sleeping in bed for him is a luxury of only 5 minutes, until he gets too hot and settles somewhere on the tile floor. In February his entire demeanor and behavior became increasingly insistent. This is when he laid his head on my chest, and I for the first time felt the tumor. I immediately knew I had cancer. In the next week I had my first appointment with the surgeons. 3 days after Galaxy went V1 in Hutto, TX the biopsie came back as Stage 2 Grade 3 breast cancer. A very aggressive and fast growing cancer that grew approximately 1 cm a month. By the time I was operated the tumor had grown to 3.8 cm. It was considered still in early detection and the lymph nodes were free but I have since then undergone my chemo treatments and am after my recent set - back with shingles hopefully starting radiation within the next 2 weeks. After my operation, Galaxy stopped indicating and became in every respect normal.

Sunshine,
that is a very interesting story. I am sure this makes you even closer to Galaxy than normal.
In fact I have heard of dogs being trained to sniff out tumors so the that fact that he sensed yours is totally consistent with the abilities of a GSD.
I know how terrible and frightning breast cancer can be and beyond the surgery the Chemo is even more difficult but if we have faith in God, ourselves and our doctors then we wil pull thru as the survival rate for your type of cancer after chemo is quite high.... around 80%.
My experience is that the best way to stay within that surviving 80% is to quicklty reduce stress , worry and fear and have a strong faith in God.. this is where Galaxy can really play a strong part in helping with your recovery you as it appears she has already.
My sincerest wishes to your continued good health and success.
By the way, I am presently at the Mayo clinic taking a loved one thru a simiar situation. I am in contact daily during the next 7-10 days with the best doctors in the country that specialize in breast cancer and after surgery therapies and if you have any questions you want me to ask for you just send me a private email.
God Bless!

Wang or whoever you are
your obviously not chinese as your bio implies.
why are you hiding behind a false indentity..... afraid to reveal your real self ? must not be a pretty picture !!!
I do not even know Henkel and wouldn't reconize him if i saw him on the street but he does have some obvious accomplishments.
what about you ?
what have you done other than sending nasty messages to this board ? any accomplishments that you are proud of ?
I am checking out now and will not be replying any further to your sick messaages as the Doctors say that only encourages the deranged.
Goodbye and Good Luck !!!
Jeffrey
