I think Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you can't.... You're right."

well ive yet to speak with dave, but already leaning towards contacting him for the training since thats what most ppl are advising me too do.
and i wouldnt want to buy an already titled SchIII dog. Ever since i saw my males father in action ive been into the sport . i actually want to go through the trials, training, and everything else that comes with it, with my own two dogs. But my time is short, bc of school and everything (im a junior), so thats the only reason i would think about leaving them to be trained.

Does Five thousand dollars sound right? to train a dog to Sch I?

make your training with a dog trainer that you suits and in particular
the one that to you says your instinct that he is good apart from his
fame it looks at you pass well you and your dog in the training and
not watercourses direct in the reward............ it will come also
this with the time...........and as long as report the price.......yes
they are much money

Adrianm5142 - I just recently contacted Ivan Balabnov for training on my 2 gsd's and was quoted $50 per dog for evaluation and $1200 per month per dog for inhouse training in Sch, with handling at trials for $100 per event. I understand he is one of the best and I am fortunate that he is only 3 1/2 hours away from us.

One note to add about what to look for when you are having your dog titled: make sure you know who is training and titling your dog - it might not be the same person......

YES Shasta, Im a hard headed redhead , and if someone told me It couldnt be done , without some difficulty, Id prove them wrong.
And score wise, Ive seen many a trainer on the field come away with a poor score on a top dog...scores are that day reports..just like in school when we sometime didnt make a top grade...take the test over and top scores the next week.....
Ive seen top scores on tracking like 91 and obedience 24 and protection 89 \ \\adding to 274 and last of which 2007 National Schutz qualifier trials link below...... Larry was doing T's dog that he now owns.....SO you never know what your scores may be on any given day....
http://germanshepherdlitters.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=12
Now the next time all of these trial a whole different story will arise......I saw Adrian Ledda do the same thing a few years ago with a low score on one leg and the dog and you might click and you might not on any given day.....So Adrian it is yet to be seen......go for it....I know Ivan can do it......
