You are right...hope this breeder comes forth and helps you..all she has to do is replace the pup upon her vets verification... But she or non have any way of knowing about hips before you buy the pup.....unless yu buy a pup over 5 mos.old . for a Hip prelim and at that age I wouldnt trust unless it has no sockets or shows bad bad crests or any other immed obvious... Since that was not in an agreement between you and her or him,,,,you may be out of luck....you now know how to approach the next purchase...
