good, i believe that is where most of  his weight is , i've noticed that some of the GSD's i've looked at seem to have very small feet  compared to boss's, does big feet actually tell you anything about how big the dog will end up getting? or is that just a myth?

The feet has some indication but the best way imo the best way to tell on gsd is the size of the head as a pup. Of course the sire and dam good indicators too.
