Rezkat5-- i know what you mean, we found out about the laser light when my son bought a toy gun that made a ton of racket and had a laser light when he shot it...boss could be clear across the house/yard and haul butt to my son when he heard that noise, cause it didn't take him long to connect the sound with the light. and when my son is just carring the gun around, boss will follow him everywhere with the most intense focus...more focus than if he was holding a piece of fried chicken. when my son has friends over and they ride the bikes around the yard playing with the toy gun, boss will chase the bikes all over the yard waiting for them to shoot each other..lol..its amusing to watch...maybe i should get a little laser light, like the pen kind, and somehow use it in training...wonder how i could do that?

Well whatever East Germany needed them for, usually guarding the wall but I'm sure some breeders tried to keep some select dogs for working in other ways and showing. With as much WG as your dog has in him, I wouldn't owrry to much about him having enough drive. You have already said he can be a real handfull right? Does he chase a ball forever, like to pull and play tug?
V Troll von der bösen Nachbarschaft andTroll Vom Haus Milinda are in ALLOT of dogs, both are in mine as well.

i've actually tried to use it in training. but can really only do so in the house. not much room..... or outside in the dark, so would be hard for me to translate that to the schutzhund field! luckily for me, he's happy to play tug and what not also.
but you could for sure use it to teach and get him to do commands faster. ie: quick sits and quick downs, etc. etc.

Xoran Grafental was owned by von Ravine in Ohio, but they have retired from breeding. Someone who knows the sire's line is Spencer's Shepherds, also in Ohio, and on the web. Grafental is an east german kennel.
