My prayers are with her at this time.  She has a littermate hilit to my hardy so we have talked over the years.  She is a great asset to the law enforcement community and I do hope she comes thru with a full recovery!

Suzanne had more surgery yesterday and the pelvis was "repaired" with pins for the 3 fractures in it.  They did not have to remove her spleen (Grace a Dieu).   The tube was taken out this morning, so she is no longer intubated.   Axel is going to be fostered by a retired k9 cop after his surgery yesterday.

Suzanne is incredibly strong, especially for someone her size.   She has done helperwork for years and fought back from a car accident several years ago.  She now swears by Pilates and I am sure that she will use that to rehab after she gets out of the hospital.   In fact, if she does not have her own home Pilates machine, maybe we can raise the money for a good one for her?

Nia, you know you can count us in on that fund raiser.

Animules & Nia, Thanks for the updates.  I think some sort of fund raiser is a great idea.  This lady does a lot for her local community as well as the GSD community.

As a Police Sergeant in a larger city and an avid GSD  owner it is really nice to see the support for  office Evinston.  It is nice to see people who post regularly and are not putting someone down.........The officer, and her partner will be in our thaughts and prayers.....

Suzanne has asked that no more flowers be sent--the room is INUNDATED with them.      So, just send cards and well wishes!
