Actually, I'm 5'8" not 5'7". Dog in question is now 100lbs, still no outward aggression, solid nerves, not handler hard, easy dog to work with once I built my muscles up working him and figured out all this coordination (hold line, hold toy/food, correct timing for rewards) crap. Dog has decent OB and out are pretty damn good if I don't say so myself.
Quote from YR "If handler continues on the road hes on, Gard will own this dog...." That's kinda what he was hoping for. lol
What GARD forgot to "read" about the dog is that he has some pretty high threshholds so people looking at him or walking down the street, don't set him off. This dog is SOLID totally clear in the head and isn't mean in any way shape or form, has never looked at me with malace. This is a dog with great bitework, that is still safe around kids. Hello, I run a daycare, and have a child of my own, he has to be! The GSD is not a Malinois. They can work well and not be over the top.
Quote from GARD "For the Police K9, dominance is a desired trait." I think someone was trying to talk me into letting them have my dog for Police and Sport.
Funny after my current TD posted, everyone else ran from this thread.
Here is some inept OB work, aside from him trying to run off to the decoy between excersizes, you can see the dog is controlable and not real flat in OB.

Look a backtie, so the dog cannot move forward when it's critical he doesn't. Novel concept. Maybe blaming the owner for thr trainers lack of equipment wasn't a wise move.

Safe with kids and good in the house.

Let just all have a redezvous somewhere and work the dogs in all aspects. give people a chance to try something new. Give the dogs to try new challenges, I think it would be a blast.

Obviously I need to work the retrieve with my dog. I have done nothing formal, so he thinks it's all play. However he will go get ANYTHING I throw and bring it, so that is half the battle for us. It's not all wooden dumbells in PSA.
