Random Thoughts - Page 25

OK Chaz... for you...just finished this. This is more like set design than a fine art painting. She is close to seven and a half feet long and a bit over three feet tall. Acrylic on crappy cardboard. I will cut her out when she is all dry and will have to figure out the best way to hang her. I hope she fits in my car!

Bonus points if you can name her!

Very nice...Isis....great job on shading, etc....I'm impressed!

When I told my son that it was a painting of Isis, he got a funny look on his face.

I quickly said, "No, not the terrorists! This is an ancient Egyptian goddess!" lol

Prom is over now. The kids were so handsome and beautiful in their tuxes and gowns. Post prom was a success, as far as I've heard. I have some amazing images. But the truth is, the photo's don't do the justice of the experience and being there.

I am glad it is over, and this is my last time. My crew and I did our best. Now, it is time to let the next wave try to top that!

I tried to walk on air when I missed a last step on the stairs. It didn't work out too well. Nearly broke both my ankles. Hurt like a SOB. Planting the corn and bean seeds are going to have to wait a few days while I perfect my hobble. No breaks but my Achilles' tendon is sprained on the right. The left, just is a generic type of swollen.

Hope you recover quickly Bee, it's going to be in the 90s today, go swimming, that should help. LOL Lay off the wine for a few days! LOL Just kidding

I knew folks would want to blame it on wine! Truth is, it was 11 in the AM, I had already been to the dentist. And hung curtains with my son. I was bringing out the kitty litter to the trash and was thinking about too many other things.... then, BAM! Stars and cuckoos flying around my eyes with pain! Good thing my son went into his lifeguard mode and set to wrapping my ankles up, good!

Yes, it is going to be a pool day for me! I am slowing improving my hobble, might try to plant a few seeds, too.

The member alert posts being bumped or set as permanent stickies are just annoying to scroll past. Maybe there should be a new board just for those who have no short term memory.
