The American Shepherd IS screwed up here in America. It CANNOT get any worse!! Why are you not hearing how WONDERFUL The AMERICAN SHEPHERD DOG is from the BIG American Shepherd Breeders on this forum? I know that they are out there and come onto this PEDIGREE DATA BASE, and read the posts! They are in their own little doggie world and they are little fishies in a BIG POND!! They would get stomped by MANY PEOPLE.. that is why!

BTW...What is the NAME of this dog??

Linedancer , You PM'd me the following today:

I have turned down matings to my dog 4 infact they were scored bitches 1 english bred bitch nasty temperment and 3 german bred bitches 2 with roach backs 1 with a reasonable topline and all 3 were quite nasty so no i'm not in it for the money i don't have a big house or a flash car either so pick the bones out of that.
The 2 litters i did breed to low scored dogs 1 being Keith Greenows Mutz DeLos Porches to my bitch which had a cert for normal hips long before hip scoring came in ,they were the 2 worse litters i had ever bred bred .

In what way were they the two worst litters please and why do you assume that it was all the Stud dog's fault? 50 / 50

There can be no excuse for using unscored dogs or bitches, it's unforgivable!

what more can you expect from people who still have dogs reminesant of the fiftys they could'ent score then and their dogs are from that era so they think its ok (fools) what seperates the fool from the clever person the clever person learns from their mistakes the fool never does to breed from unscored stock is not just foolish it is unethical and a disgrace that the kc will still register the offspring and stinks of money first by both parties there is no excuse

I got a pm from her last night passed it on to a couple of you, recons 9 matings so whats that approx 70 pups out of unscored bitches, grprogeny again out of unscored stock so how many unscored dogs/bitches descended from this one dog? 100++++

Linedancer, I've had yet another PM from you.... if you feel we've got something wrong... out with it... tell us, on here.

You said: did i say it was the dogs fault???? and 9 puppies in the litter 5 had high hip scores including the 2 i kept and no i did not breed from them.

Not breeding from them was the right thing to do, why have you now taken a huge backward step? You've imported a dog, allowed him to sire several litters without the most BASIC of health checks... why?
