Silverbolt Prime, aka "Silver"
Female; breeder of GSDs and expanding into Beaucerons.
Studied genetics for many years; biological scientist by training, "dogger" by choice.
Dog trainer, breeder, and handler. "Dogger" for over 15 years. "Owned" by a small pack of GSDs and one very strong-willed Beauceron. Originally started by training Therapy Dogs under the Delta Society; then got into working shepherds which eventually lead to Schutzhund. Unfortunally Schutzhund dogs cannot be Therapy Dogs. Loves German GSDs, has little interest in "American" shepherds. "All structural problems aside, too skittish," she says, and shows the scars on her arms caused by a friend's pet "American" GSD.
Looking to get more experience in French Ring. Has a special fondness for nice "coarse" structured DDR and Czech working shepherds. Enjoys dogs with hard personalities and intense drive. "I'd rather have a heavy hitter that challenges me every step of the way than a rug with no drive at all. Once you earn their respect, you've got a fantastic partner." Considered her dogs to be her friends, not her children.
Doesn't do as much breeding/showing anymore due to time, but always willing to offer experiences/advice to those looking to get into the hobby.
