Two Moons

A match made in heaven.........:)

Moons-

Although I share your pessimism, whatever hope that remains is important enough to me to engage in contructive dialogue. Not everyone speaks the same "language", but a complete lack of tact suggests total apathy. If that's the case, why bother posting at all?

Knock yourself out there Carlin,
tact?
I was just marvelling at the similarity of style and content.

You can lead a horse to water, and you can beat around the bush, but neither will get you a drink or a rabbit.

Certain things are understood no matter what language is spoken, if one can make his point in a simple clear moment.

There are many reasons people here post, mine is rather simple, because I can.

Take no offense at my muse, it's only an internet forum.

Moons.

Carlin, I am quite pessimistic about future for the reasons mentioned so eloquently by you. What is your solution? Or is there a solution? Or where will it end?

Moons, for a guy who doesn't believe in God, or Jesus, or that Jesus IS God, you sure say His name a lot! Kiss

LOL......
funny how cursing revolves around religion isn't it?

I wonder how that ever got started.

Moons - do you realize that your extremist atheism (in and of itself, a statement of faith) finds you the very essence of what you abhor? BTW- thanks for pointing out Hans' post; I missed it the first time around. Teeth Smile

Hans -

Where moons and I agree, is that there is no observable reason to believe humanity contains within it the solution to the problems we have created.  He's anticipating, yearning, longing for it to be burned to the ground.  As a man of faith, I trust that God's will be done, in a linear historiography, where one day every knee shall bow.  In the meantime, I do what I can to live honestly, promote liberty and justice, and pray that God would bestow upon me a measure of grace and mercy such that I may be of use.

He's anticipating, yearning, longing for it to be burned to the ground?

Why, because I've said that's the only way to stop what no one seems to know how to stop?
Doesn't mean I'm looking forward to it, it wouldn't be pleasant for anyone.

Linear historiography, every knee will bow.......don't think so.
