Triodegirl,
This is the point - I can not see bashing the owner of Zach - however, with all of these claims it would be nice to see some medical reports.
It is not as if no one has tried to help the owner. That is the point, some of us have tried to help and still she will not accept the help that is being offered.
I am sure someone on this board lives close to this pup - we can always offer to help that way. Maybe we would have a better understanding of the situation.
My heart goes out to the owner of this pup (if this is all true). However, Malinda has tried to make it right. People have offered to help so your sympathy can only go so far.

Now the owner has contacted me and said the pup is dying at her side. I contacted the Vet ER clinic she said he was in last night and THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF ANYONE WITH HER NAME OR A DOG OF THAT DESCRIPTION COMING IN.
Now she says she wants a full or partial refund and AFTER the pup has died at her side, she'll send the documentation.
IS THERE ANYONE CLOSE ENOUGH TO GO GET THIS PUP FOR ME??? IT IS A 24 HOUR DRIVE FOR ME AND WE ARE HAVING TORRENTIAL FLOODING AND I AM NOT EVEN SURE WE CAN GET THROUGH SOME OF TEXAS.
If you can help me get this pup, I WILL GIVE HER HER MONEY BACK BUT I NEED SOME HELP HERE! Please!

Malinda,
Are you sure the vet clinic said they had no record of her? If she was there clearly she can at least provide you the number of the clinic and the vet that took care of her. This situation is so strange. I think I would ask her to fax the vet report from last night. No one minds helping someone out if they are being straight up but this is very strange.
I wish I lived closer, I would go to her and the pup and see what I could do - because really this is about the pup. However, I am too far away. I have offered to have her fly the pup to me. I have a friend in CA I will see where they are located.

Yes, I am 100% sure. I called the clinic and they referred me to their business office. They said they had no dog by this description or any client with this last name at any of their locations last night.
So, she either said the wrong clinic or she wasn't there.
All that matters is she says this pup is now dying by her side and she won't release anything until AFTER he has died.
Is there anyone in California around Fremont?

What clinic or vet did you go to?

Malinda,
I have been reading this since it was posted refraining from posting but once about her calling the SPCA on you. Like you said the DRAMA was interesting, i even had my husband come and read it...By the time the thread got to her saying she had to go to the ER, my husband and I just said "OH MAN!!!" We felt she was looking for pity and sympathy and attention. Saying this dog has a heart problem now? You'd think that with all her supposed vet visits her vet would have noticed some type of murmur or something! Unfortunately, I bet you don't get an autopsy report either-maybe she won't want to "put the dog through an autopsy" right?. it seems like a million excuses with her. I just wanted to say that even though I am nobody in the GSDs, most people should be able to see through all that crap once they got your story.
I am not being insensitive to the pup itself either btw. I do feel bad for it, that if it is, or was suffering so much it wasn't sent or brought back to you and then pts...I am sorry for you and can feel your pain. Be strong. God Bless

Thank you TexasLady 217:
I just got an email from her saying she wants the refund. I said, send me the pup. Then she says "See! I knew you wouldn't give the refund! I'll just let the BBB take care of this... etc... etc..."
What is this about? I said in bold letters I'd pay the full amount just like always, even with him "dying" but still I get I am not offering her money back"??

At this point, I don't think I'd trust a word she said! I would want positive proof of this dog's condition before sending her one red penny!

Now she says it is not about the refund, she wants the BBB to get me. Where is the love for this pup now? I have once again offered a full refund upon return of the pup. Nothing from her vet, nothing of any substantiation at all!
