Look at the amount of CO2 being released in China and tell me it doesn't affect global warming/climate change. I hope your daughter/s will remember your opposition to climate change, because it really will probably never affect you like it will them and they can sit back and say my dad was so against the thought of climate change and he is now gone but the mess he helped support is now causing widespread damage. What a nice legacy, that you would be so enamored with your politics you can't accept that the climate is changing because your leaders tell you it isn't and you are willing to take the chance that it is actually changing all to save the people you support some more money so they can continue to pollute the world we all live in, because you are right about one thing and that is it is all about the money they are saving in resisting their polluting ways.

It has nothing to do with a party line, it has to do with common sense. If CO2 causes warming and we are pumping record numbers into the air, it becomes common sense. You on the other hand are sucking right up to that party line. I don't base my judgements on parties, you on the other hand...

What is it hurting by supporting global warming? Hell most republicans are now saying climate change is real. All except those that are to stupid to walk outside and take a long look at what is happening to the world around them, because gasp God is coming and he will save us.

There is a difference between climate and weather.

Even the scientist who wrote about global cooling in the 70's recanted his article and stated that he is very concerned about the path that climate change is taking.
