We had one from a shelter yrs ago (best dog I ever had) but they are hard to find with the super drive we need a lot of them are from BYB that don't care to preseve the breed, health or have a purpose. They do breed just for christmas cash...

I FULLY agree with Trixx.... why would you breed a dog that you've just complained for 2 pages is a HORRIBLE MOM?! Sell the poor girl and be done with that. 

Ok NA7.... I'm with beetree here. You say that you got the dogs to work with FEMA.... no breeding. Why no shelter dogs? Why not rescue? There are a TON of high drive dogs in rescues that would love to do the work. There are hundreds of breed specific rescues around the US; tons of purebred dogs in the shelters. Why not rescue them and put them to work if you don't want to breed and you want them for working? But you get 3 from Alicia. And you bitch that shelter dogs are hard to find with high drive and most are from BYB, but you bitch Alicia is a BYB. I hope now you second think your next purchase, and maybe save a life.

Really is it anyone business to tell someone where they should and shouldn't purchase their dog.


people have a right to make that decision without justifying it to internet strangers.


the real problem is these days decent research on health, pedigrees, et. is no longer enough. you now also have to employee a private investigator and an investigative journalist and an expert in fraud and criminal law just to buy a freakin dog.


experienced people and newbs alike have been stung.

So, what is the deal? I can not imagine the Attorney General is paying any attention to Jenni Von, any more.

We didn't want a to. We wanted to know what we were buying. Obviously I did know Alicia was a bad breeder or I wouldn't have purchased three dogs from her. No, you really can't find what we were looking for in a shelter and yes, I do feel bad for shelter dogs. Why do you think I refused to sign a contract with Alicia a week ago (and 7months after we purchased our dog) stating I would never register the litter she intentionally bred and had to fight just to get the papers. Was for the dogs, not me. They will probably get tossed around and end up in a shelter one day when they couldn't easily be registered and go to better homes. Don't be to quick to defend her, she said some pretty bad stuff about Sequoyah, which I do not believe. Said they are breeding dogs with hip dysplasia and then taking the dogs in and doing surgery in house. All they do is sell sell sell and haven't produced anything worth a damn. I happen to like Sequoyah and even brought up the success of your very own dog. Irregardless, this is nit a post about why people bought the dogs, its about a post of a breeder that lies, steals, neglects and has zero business ethics. The only reason some got papers is because she wanted to shut people up, not because she suddenly cared to honor her word.

Plus I wanted to add we have young children and we didn't want to take a risk of getting a dog without really knowing history and risking one of them getting bit.

I can see where you're coming from NA7. Everyone has their own opinions of breeders, can't always believe what you hear. I personally haven't seen a better breeder than Sequoyah, have a dog from them, would get another in a heartbeat. Haven't seen any from them with HD. I'm big on meeting and dealing with breeders and trainers and forming my own opinion on there. And I thank you for not being an asshat like your friend Jenni Von over there. Sorry Jenni Von, you can't try to bully me into believing what you want. If you talk civilized and a little calmer and less like an asshole, maybe your point would come across better like NA7 ;) Like I told you earlier, I hate this has happened to you, I'm glad you've got the papers (or they're in the mail or whatever), and I hope that helps this situation out, for you and your dogs.
