KCzaja,
I think that pedigree is harder to obtain then the nuclear launch codes from the Department of Defense. LOL

KCzaja,
I'd love to see the pedigree.

zdog up to this point I was reading your posts because I was curious to know what makes you tick. Now I know it is perverse pleasure to get a rise out of people. You call LMX program bogus? You know nothing. Stop talking. It is funny since I have heard Fred Lanting (the foremost authority on hips and other orthopedic disorders) back then to say that it is probably one of few if not the only breeding system to improve the hips in dogs.

People give it a brake.
Dobbermann's motivation was to create dog which was not afraid of a man or devil and could run next to his horse. He mixed Rottweiler, Terrier and Grayhound mostly> The result: Doberman dog.
Tina's motivation to Ss was to recreate what she remembers the GSD was. She remembers it certain way. She recreated that (her) image by using other breeds and GSD.The result Ss. Many people also remember the GSD that way. They buy Ss. You do not remember the GSD that way or you even were not alive. You do not buy Ss. OK ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody is lying.
End of story.

You truly don't know a good bloodline until you have been in a fist fight with
a bunch of Germans in a after hours bar in Wittenberg, because you told them
their dog was a peace of shit.
Stevie1 can I get an amen?

Sorry, Prager, but this is the best breeding system to improve hips? <<How come one of your top stud dogs has only around 5 screened progeny thru OFA despite having sired over 20 litters PER YOUR GRAPH???? and no info on his parents, siblings etc.??? you can claim 50% of good hips over a period of 5 years all you like but if only 100 dogs are screened out of hundreds of litters out of that time, and most progeny and parent info is not available thru the OFA,>>
Nope.
And yes, many here have said that Tina may be recreating the "dogs of her youth," but she bashes the present day GSD while she does it. That's what people are objecting to. Can't find a good GSD anymore? Look in your own kennel. Do you agree with her? Do you agree that the GSD is a lost cause and therefore she had to recreate it? Because that's what she says.

There have always been oversized GSDs. Some people prefer them, some prefer dogs that are standard sized. Tina remembers her grandmother's dogs as being larger than the neighbour's rottweiller, so it's not just because all dogs look huge when you are a small child.
Most people on this board dislike the current American line GSDs.. Well, those were the dogs Tina didn't like either, and wanted to improve on. And at that time, it was a lot harder to find good German line dogs in North America. She paid a great deal of money to import a top quality male from Germany, only to find his hips were so bad, they were right out of the sockets! Her vet said they were about the WORST hips he had ever seen!
So, it's not like she didn't try the German lines. (And Max was not the only German import she tried to use in her breeding program.)

No, my image of GSD is different then hers. TThus I do not agree now. Also in the days she had written this and started Ss bredint it was the truth here in USA. ABSOLUTELY. I knew old style dogs exist in Czech and I have brought them here. Tina went Ss way. I respect that. And I would never call someone liar just because they do not do what I do.
THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT i DO NOT HTINK THAT Ss IS A GREAT BREED.!!!
About the comment on hips :
Some people do not care about erratic and statistically segued results of OFA. Thus thy do their own records. I do OFA only because people want it. I personally can not care less about OFA. What I have said about LMX stays . There in my eyes is no better system maybe ZW is close.

ok Prager, then tell me why a stud dog by her own chart has sired 20 litters, yet has less than 10 registered offspring, NO parent data, NO sibling data, etc? Tell me what kind of littermate screening program that is. So he produces a half a puppy each litter, or slightly less? Come on, I'd expect to see at least 40-50 littermates screened, not less than 10.
It sounds all well and good, but really show me the data. It's not that hard. don't give me a link to a bunch of words or graphs of interpreted data. Give me the data. if it's been obtained, show it to us.
Really sunsilver?? really?? Don't make excuses for her. She imported one dog with bad hips? ohhhhhh, i bet she's produced more dogs with hips worse than that one so give me a break. Her hip scores on the 500 or so screened dogs are slightly worse than the breed she claims to be improving upon.
