I have brought dogs up all my life on raw meat and have never had a problem with them. I would put vegi's through the blender add ester-c, kelp, calcium. The dogs have been healthy and lived longer than everyone else's dogs. Though different meats can cause differences in your dogs behaviour. Adding pasta or rice with the rest. Having your dog live 17.5 year on meat is proof it works. ena

Oh I forgot to add that once a week they would also get a tin of fish, well cat food in my case. My dogs never looked their age. ena

Another good RAW prepackaged food is BRAVO. They also sell whole bones. All the meat is hormone & antibiotic free.

Darwins and Common Sense are both great and grain free, although I think there are some oats in Common Sense Chicken. Darwin's is even free range. I think you can get most to ship cross country for not much extra...especially if you purchase over 40 lbs or more. I get a variety of Buffalo Beef and Chicken. Very fresh and well-balanced food. Easy to thaw and it's really convenient. Wish I had known about it sooner with my last dog. The veterinarians scare many people away from raw, saying it's not balanced properly, but they're wrong and many of them support the Hill Corporation and other huge manufacturers. You have to dig around for truthful information.
