My last dog (GSD) was named Yogi (as in the bear) however it has no real meaning. My current male is named Dajk (the D litter) In Slovak it's just a dog name with no real translation. However it is pronounced dyke :) People get over it

My dog's name translates to "don't run outside with my daughter's underwear to the neighbors house again!"

Katharina Josefa von Lebold Saiz (I will NOT go out in the rain, I am a comp. obedience dog, I will melt)
Leo von Lebold Saiz (Peebody - oops, I mean Peabody)
Duke de Saiz(Daddy's little boy)
The Border Collie's:
El Bandito de Saiz (El Diablo - I will jump on Daddy's crown jewels when he wants to lay on the couch)
Spin the Doctor is in (Had to convince Daddy that Mommy could not live without me)
The Aussie/Kelpie mix:
Cynder (Cinderella - rescued - rising from the ashes to become the best comp. obedience dog in the pack)

And sometimes the names seem to morph after a while.... Kali became Kali-wali-wally-woo (translated means I'm a schmoozer)...and Beckett turns to Bucket (rhymes with F***-it! Look what he did again!!)jo
