@Q man, i like Fero but there are too many dogs that have Fero in their pedigree many are good. Fero looks like hes gonna be Sven vom Grafental in the future where people are gonna say we are looking for Fero free dogs.

Depends on your definition of "count" and "answer"

xPyrotechnic, people were already seeking Fero-free dogs twenty years ago, because he was so frequently found in the pedigrees, so you're not asking for the impossible.
When you speak of vom Salztalblick, keep in mind that you're really speaking of multiple kennels-- vom Salztalblick, vom Salztal-Höhe, and vom Haus Salztalblick. Vom Saltztalblick So your question really encompasses a very large breeding operation, and there's going to be a wider range of type and temperament than most lines. That said, I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain that their v Salztal[fill in the blank] dog was weak or too soft.

The WL people have done to themselves exactly what the ASL people did with Lance and his descendants, and the German SL people did with Palme, Quanto, Canto and the other handful of dogs behind the show lines.
It's reached the point where this genetic bottleneck is never going to disappear. And in my opinion, that's NOT a good thing.
