Well I posted once but I'm doing it again. Heardgard chewables also contain soy protein. Soy protein is now on the list the FDA is investigating along with wheat gluten, rice gluten, corn gluten. I've left messages with Jerry Belle, exec chairman and Dr. Zack Mills, exec vet on Wed 4-25 and again on Fri 4-26 and still have not heard back from them. My personal opinion apparently they think our concerns are not important enough to warrant their time to return calls. If anyone else wants to make an effort to call them, forget the 1-888Merial-1opt3 is only a CALL CENTER. Better to try 1-888-637-4255 or 678-417-7507.

Well, I copied Melody's letter and gave it to my vet and she's still not going to distribute it. She says she's heard contradicting stories and feels she'd still rather wait to find out. I think it's because she has also had the Science Diet and some other brand? that was recalled. Birdy...

I think it is more, this week they put out that it is safe, next month they say OOPS, it is on recall.....
