Cheers, I only ask cos I am always looking for training partners and I presumed I have analysed every decent pedigree in the whole country.

If there is a pool of knpv titled dogs and active trainers I have missed I would dearly like to upgrade my knowledge.

 

Well here in Holland GSD with full KNPV pedigrees in 5 lines is very very rare

Most pedigree will with be IPO or KNPV pedigree combination

KNPV titled females are also very,very rare

Like to know how come there are plenty KNPV dogs in the OZ , (must be some fake
dogs in the lines ?) , and for sure check the DNA....

I think most ( 80/90 percent )KNPV GSD who are sold  outside Holland are in  the US in the passed, now we have also
China as a money player who buy a lot of KNPV dogs as a trophy.

 

Like to know and I,m curious  wich titled  KNPV GSD  studs are sold to OZ .. or some females with some KNPV  titles behind the pedigree

if they are "aplenty" there should not be a problem demonstrating just one.

anyway what exactly is a sheep farming line???

I educate myself on the breed and educate myself further on what is in my own country, I know the dogs titled here in ipo and the titled imports.

knpv kennels in Australia are popping up all over selling knpv puppies - that's a bit scammy don't you think?

would you like to point out my error or would you like some specific information on kennels and pedigrees and what dogs are titling from what lines, kennels and owners?
 

As with many things dog..."lines" could mean a single dog 5-10 generations ago. In the US, practically every ASL is "champion lines" because at some point you're bound to hit a champion if you go back far enough. Same with Schutzhund lines...go back far enough, someone's titled. I personally own and breed Horand lines.

vk4GSD: your right ya know. Re. lack of KNPV lines in GSDs. Despite claims. When i asked for details, they were scant. So then i did my own searching. Im from UK where knpv are easier to come across, much easier indeed! But here, all i could find was this fella: Exit V heisenburg
Talks cheap, show us your dog's papers eh? I have certainly been advised of KNPV lines. and like you say, must of been way back.

And having said i dont know anyone's dogs pedigree name. We had a trial at w/e and i heard every single one. And wow, what a mouthful they all are.

Heisenberg is a kiwi kennel and had some good dogs, check out Optikas Diesel then look at the untitled dogs since. You only live off bought titles for so long.

 

And exit comes thru Lubeck Ph1 and go to nick who is hardly knpv. Takes a bit more than that to be a knpv line.

 

Glad you did yr own research, there are only a handful of international standard working dog breeders.

 

Just ask specific questions and demand proof, also ask what titles the breeder has personally  achieved.
