Ah now ya got me drooling, lol,.

OMG ! Sauteed in real butter....mouth watering aroma and tender and full of wonderful flavor. Sort of taste like portabella. I won't dice so small next time, now that I know how to separate the tough from the tender...like with asparagus, the tough part is woody and stringy.
Tomorrow I'll harvest some more. Looks as though the shroom has healed from cutting yesterday and it is growing more but still tender.

More pics tomorrow...the baby one at the base of the black stump has spoons already late this afternoon.

Sounds like you have discovered a lucky find! It is breakfast time... How about a nice mushroom, onion and Swiss cheese omelet? Go ahead and add some sliced cherry tomatoes if you like them, which I do. 😋

Looks good Joan. Real good.

Six eggs! I hope you had company for breakfast.... wink, wink! LOL It really looks delicious, that is the truth!

@GSD ... isn't that funny, you will eat an omelette but hate eggs. My son is like that with tomatoes. Really dislikes them sliced or in sandwiches, etc. But chopped and mixed with other stuff in salsa, or a cooked Italian sauce, no problem! I love tomatoes every which way... except gazpacho! I try to like that stupid, cold soup, time and time again, and I should, but nope, can't stand it! I love my cold V-8 juice in the morning, too.

Right you are... go figure!

Joan, how about a nice mushroom risotto, next! LOL Yummmmm!
