Thank you, Irina!
You should be proud ( guess you are ...)
I hope this event will get more and more participants out of more and more countries - I really believe in the "universal" thought. The "perfect" German Shepherd Dog for me is a healthy dog, fitting to the standard, able to do the IPO routine in a strange surrounding, on a high niveau.
For me that´s more important than a winner in one venue, be it IPO or the showring.

That was the main reason we took part in the Universalsieger in Paderborn!
Our Nera fom Irin Hof was among only two show-line females there...
Only one show-line male from Spain took a chance to go there...
The Czech show-line female won the show-ring, but she failed in tracking and protection service. Our Nera was alone who went on the battle with the 19 working-line females. She was the 3-rd in the show-ring and the 16-th in IPO. In our opinion she proved that a show-line female may be competetive with working-dog females from all over the world.
It allowed her to become the 10-th in summary. You are right - we're proud!
This is - a very serious reason for the show-line breeders to think it over - whom and what for do they breed? This is my principal position after the father of GSD Max von Stephanitz:
A GERMAN SHEPHERD IS A WORKING DOG! And if it does not work - IT IS NOT A GERMAN SHEPHERD !!!
It doesn't matter which breed line it belongs: show-line or working-line.
