Again all involved knew it was not a real bomb.  It was a lesson to a certain group of people.  If it had been a bomb then they should be terrified of how they handled the  "bomb."  Whatever happened to common sense and a reality check?  An elementary kid expelled for biting his lunch into the shape of a gun and pointing it at his friend in fun was shameful.  I remember kids bringing their hunting rifles to school to show off their new gun and there was no uproar.  Stop with the knee jerk reactions and band-aid solutions.........

The "lesson" goes both ways. It could be said everyone knew this clock was not a bomb but the implication about a next one being real, is the real worry in today's world. That is the very heart of terrorism.

Cupcakes have been banned in elementary schools around here, so I am sure bringing your new shotgun for show and tell is absolutely going to be an instant suspension. Weep your tears for those lost Mayberry years. They are gone forever. The brownies ... though, without nuts, have a better chance of making a comeback.

Wink Smile Beetree.....sadly how true although the nuts may be banned because some kid may not understand their nut allergy or the brownies may be thought to contain marijuana........
