Try not to SCARE the poor fellow too much, I encountered this before with a certain pup... You can call it SUBMISSIVE PEEING... I learned that GSDs have what you call a CONSCIENCE ... My pups learn in time that I am having a hard time cleaning after them... they will develop a habit to go far away from the house as possible to either PEE or defacate... they dont want their areas smelly with urine (they have sensitive noses) they try to keep themselves clean and I make sure they're clean also and not SMELLY... pamper them with care and soon they will learn to acknowledge you by peing away from the house... If inside the house... try to let them develop control by not giving too much fluids and only give them at regular times of the day so they can go outside afterwards and releive themselves.. hope this helps... Marci
