Is this a picture of a picture? It's hard for me to see clearly enough to say for sure, but am I the only one who sees what might be remodeling/medusa on the right hip? Some on the left but not as much. Again, with this pic it is very hard to tell. They are well-seated.

Although I agree that the knees are pulled in past parallel in the x-ray the depth in the socket looks good on both sides. The left, while not quite as deep as the right is still well seated in the socket, and should go fair-good on review.

Same thoughts as K9Mike...
What kind of training did you do with this youngster?!?
The muscles look short, like the muscles of a Bull, not like a German Shepherd.
Right hip ( left on the screen shot ) looks better than the left side, but both sides good enough for training ( a good/fair from me ) ( A2/A3 ).
Keep us updated!

Hi guys,
Hips came back fair, elbows good. This was a picture of a computer screen. I'm hopeful that with better positioning we may be able to pull a "good" rating when he is 2.
As far as training, I haven't really done to much because he is still young. We live on a lake so he does a lot of swimming. We got lucky with a very mild winter this year. The dogs were able to swim nearly year round! Otherwise we don't do any really structured training. He free plays with the other dogs in the yard and plays with the chuck it. I'll start some more structured training once he is 18 months-2 years.
