djc and charlie319...excellent post....hopefully we'll all get to see,or better yet work with the dogs described...oddly enough,charlie319 "nailed" my first sportdog(ENZO VOM DUNHILL) almost to a tee!these types of discussions may help the newer/younger inductees into dogsport as to exactly how much dog are they willing to deal with,an"adequate" dog is perfectly fine for sport,whatever it may be...but when we're looking for that particular pup,we do our best to select what we think is best for the situation at that time....so we never know,without doubt,that what we choose may be one of the dogs described in djc and 319's post...it can be a pleasent surprise,dream or nightmare...these type of dogs require a handler to "AMP UP" the learning curve....great posts.
