New pet needs time esp when you bring in baby pet.it observes you mostly in the beginning, notices how far do you involve itself in your routine life, how much do you take it out.but the dog, being the most loyal pet out of all in this world , is the must to have as a pet .

You just need to do some sort of activity with them...I mean like take them for walks...play ball with them...This doesn't need to be for long periods of time...You just need to do something with them...The more you do with them the better and faster they will bond with you...
I personally like to play a lot with my dogs when I take them out to go to the bathroom...But it certainly helps if you have a nice fenced in yard...or at least someplace you can go to take them off leash and play with them...You can learn how to play with them and get the most out of it in a fairly short period of time...

I would look for breeders who own both dogs. You can see where the pups come from and there temperament. Preferably who work and title there dogs and are active in training. You have a better chance of getting a GSD with temperament that will work with your home and needs. Find a breeder that isn,t afraid to give you names and #,s of people they have supplied dogs to before and contact them. Don,t get into a rush finding the right dog. Don,t look at titled dogs as any thing special look at the dog it,s self and see what you like about it.

I have Pits, too. We have a lot in common, LOL! Going by that, you'll love a GSD. :)
