Not to 'Poo Poo' the WUSV event, but i know a lot of GSD competitors who are content with only competing at the UScA GSD Nationals. For many, the GSD Nationals are the highest they want to go based more on finance and life events then not wanting to compete at the Qualifier. There are more males competing at higher levels of IPO than females like others have pointed out. Not that the females are not as good/strong as their male counter part, but reality is you can compete with a male at anytime where good, proven females need time to be: courted, breed, birth and recover. I have listened to conversations of some top handler/trainers who have contemplated; "Do i make another run at Nationals/Qualifier or do i breed her now and wait till next year?"

The combination that comes to mind first is Warra Gymor / Dingo von Conneforde which produced Orry which carried on.

It seemed to work on paper and on the field.
