She does look much better, Mithuna--now her chest looks like that of an adolescent, blocky-framed GSD bitch, instead of an English Bulldog's.

Frankly, I'm surprised your trainer didn't read you the riot act over the excess pounds right off the bat--but I'm just glad to see that you put your annoyance with 'the Breed Police' to one side and took a critical look at the points that were being made for your girl's best interests.

I don't mind being called a member of the board's 'Breed Police'--without self-policing among our ranks as dog owners who are passionate about seeing this breed be everything it was developed to be, it's easy to see where that's gotten us. 

Ditto to vk4gsd's request to see some pictures of the girl doing something for a change, even just walking with you--though I do take exception to his comparing her to 'unwanted furniture'. I rather view her as very attractive, and very much wanted, furniture...but yeah, she seems to favor having her picture taken when she's serving as a footstool set off to the side of the room when not in use, or adorning the bed like a huge accent pillow.

At least put a ball on the sofa next to her, even if you have to photoshop it in. What we are saying is we admire your dogs looks and would like you to honour your own dog by representing her in a manner befitting her stature.

At this stage i agree or did you just down her food and no conditioning. the dog looks like it sits longer on a couch than my wife  

A repeat litter of her full siblings is due in a few days
