,,,,and the name Josh Duggar means nothing to me I have never heard of him ~ Yet you act like he is some champion Christian authority. He is no one important imo and under the circumstances has proven what he is~

But he is important because the GOP front runners were slurping all over him. Sorry, you don't know him but he appears to be from a very Christian family, who profess their faith in God in a very open and judgemental way.

He's part of the TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting", that features their desire to have as many children as possible and treat their daughters as chattel. He's also a lobbyist for the hate organization "The Family Research Council". It's all based on their "Biblical" lifestyle and their bashing of the same-sex marriage movement, because it's "perverted". These are the people who propose to tell others how to live their lives, through legislation of laws that apply to their "faith", not to those outside of it. These are the people who would deny other citizens their rights, to fall in line with what they call their "Morality" and propose that it's so pure, it should be law. It's not different than the hypocrisy of the Roman Catholic Church in their complicity with the numerous child molesters they protected, instead of the children in their "flock". And when they're called out on their hypocrisy, it's all good, because they know their god has "forgiven them". It drips with hypocrisy, as does all of the "Christians persecution" that is non-existent. Loss is privilege is not the same thing as persecution and this, more than anything, proves just that. This is current news, big news, so it's not "Christian bashing", it's the truth.

What do atheists have for a symbol?
Christians of course have the crucifix.
But what is the symbol of atheists, perhaps a satellite dish. Sounds reasonable. Maybe I'm wrong, the dish could be their state flower.
Holiday weekend coming up, the miserables are active...reminds me of a bunch of maggots crawling around on some dead flesh...
They don't like Christians being at peace and enjoying life. They want everyone to share in their overwhelming misery...
So little miserable ones, I'm not biting...I'm going to enjoy the weekend...
Come back to God, he still loves you...

I have never left my God. Never. As far as the rest of your comments, they are hogwash and a deflection.
This is my holiday weekend - plant a bunch of trees and flowers I ordered - redo my kitchen ceiling - cut grass - finish setting up my garage for a big garage sale - do some grocery shopping - wash my vehicle - spend a lot of time with my dogs playing outside - evening campfires with friends and of course some drinks - steak dinner on the grill with family - sounds like a miserable time I will let everyone know how they are a bunch of miserable maggots SMH how everyone else is miserable but you don't see yourself as such.

The one fact missing from the video: He never recieved "counselling", he went to a farm to do physical labor.
He said the program was a “Christian program.” Michelle Duggar later admitted to police that Josh did not receive counseling and instead had been sent during that time to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business.
From this article: http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/bombshell-duggar-police-report-jim-bob-duggar-didn-t-report-son-josh-s-alleged-sex-offenses-for-more-than-a-year-58906
Not a website I frequent, but it's a direct quote, no matter who's reporting it. I've seen the same quote in other places.
And here, Ruger, is why it's important. Look at all of the politicians who have rushed to have the "endorsement" of the "Squeaky clean, upstanding, Christian family, with lily-white 'values' and the ability to tell others how to live and what's 'moral'.". These people are attempting to turn our Representative Republic into a Christian Theocracy. I don't really care if it offends you, but it sure in Hell does offend me, and not for the same reasons! Good ol' major hypocrite Rick Santorum, who paraded a dead fetus around town for a few days, after removing it from the hospital and tamering with medical records! Having family photos taken with his living brood and sleeping with a fetus overnight, before returning it to the hospital. All this, of course, after aborting it!! And then, on top of it, making money on a book written to the aborted fetus!! His wife once lived with an abortion doctor before she met him. Not to mention using funding for cyber schools that his children attended, from another state, where he falsified tax records. And he gets away with this shit and sports his idiotic sweater-vest like he's Mr. Rogers! What an insult to Mr. Rogers! These are the hypocrites trying to force the religion that they themselves don't follow, onto the rest of society. But when they can't, they cry persecution!
So cry me a river, but don't act aghast and persecuted when the hypocrisy of those of "high moral ground" is shown to be more of a grave and nothing more.

So, in other words he molested his sisters and his parents did nothing but pray to God. uck.

You would think, wouldn't you, that someone who had been a
sexual abuser as a teen and 'fessed up to it, might have a more
caring and moderate approach to other peoples' problems and
issues, as they matured ? But clearly not. So much for xian empathy.
BTW ML - I don't mind the addition of 'maggot' to the way you see
me. Maggots are very useful in our eco-system. More useful than
you appear to be, at any rate. Still object to being regarded as
'miserable' - actually I am cock-a-hoop over some good news
today, and far from miserable !

by GSDtravels on 22 May 2015 - 18:05
This is living under my roof, I'm anything but miserable :)

by GSD Admin on 22 May 2015 - 20:05
The only miserable person here is the one trying to project his misery onto everyone else.
