Both my daughter and and all of her children were born with hair just like that, as were my X and his mother.  I had peach fuzz :)

Thanks Ruger, he's just perfect!  My granddaughter is in a lot of pain, she's refusing meds because she's breast feeding.  He's a really good baby, doesn't cry unless he's hungry and he's very alert!  He stares intently when you talk to him and he loves to have his little face stroked.  They are staying with me until she gets on her feet, so I'll be getting lots of baby time!

Ah good momma for breast feeding! It does have its drawbacks and feeling comfortable choosing to takie pain medications while breastfeeding is difficult  ~ It didn't stop me from taking mine lol but I had a C-section and being without wasn't an option and my doc ok'ed it. Btw aren't you the lucky one for getting to have such a delightful house guest :)))  ---> give me a rocker and that little guy and all is well in the world!  One thing I did enjoy were the days ('months actually ) I spent rocking my children.

Well, she had a c-section after hours of pushing.  He was so wedged, they had to suction him out of her pelvis, so it was a long, hard day for her.  She's actually lying to the nurses because she doesn't want to take anything stronger than ibuprofen.  She was really hurting today, it took her minutes just to get her legs over the side of the bed and she walked really hunched over.  She was told that she should take percocet if her pain is over 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.  When they ask where her pain is, she says "5".  I told her she should take the meds while she can and also send the baby to the nursery if she wants to get some sleep, but I'm sure she'll do her own thing no matter what anyone tells her.  She is, after all, my granddaughter :)

I am lucky!  I can't wait until they come home, except I'm sure I'll have a stream of continuous company for a while!  One of my nephews has a two year old son and they are expecting another boy in early September.  Another nephew has a son who will be a year old in July, so he'll have plenty of playmates, we're a close family.

She is a real trooper! Hard to imagine going through all of that without narcotics for pain management. I had a rather uneventful C-section and I was in terrible pain~

"but I'm sure she'll do her own thing no matter what anyone tells her.  She is, after all, my granddaughter :)"           ......   lol indeed! Wink Smile
