Snow became an obsession and I'm guilty of encouraging it at first. From throwing snowballs to shoveling the driveway. I'd throw the shovel of snow over the fence and she'd jump and bite at it. She'd do it for hours. Now anytime she hears the scrape of a shovel she goes NUTS...I mean ballistic with a blood kurdeling squeal. If I'm not prepared for it I nearly have a heart attack thinking the dogs are killing eachother. Happened just this morning by the way, lol. I was in the basement and my husband decided to shovel the snow without telling me.

Deeswolf, Blitz has mastered opening the fridge door and he can even tell a Coors Lite from a Molson Gold now, but how the hell do I teach him to unscrew the bottle top or pop that stubborn tab on the top of the can?

Teaching "Bear Hug" to a puppy. It is very cute when a pup gets on the couch, runs behind you and puts his front legs over your shoulders and head on your head, but when they are grown, not so much.

Couple of good ones - my friends GSD's know how to access the water and ice buttons on the front of the Fridge and since they love ice cubes they will push the buttons all day long.
I didn't teach my dog this one - a friend did as a joke. We are involved in a lot of music related festivals - especially celtic. A friend taught my big male, Jamieson, to flip up kilts from behind. Jameison added a loud bark with the flip when he discovered that everyone laughed when he did it. He's one of those dogs that really like being the center of attention and since everyone laughed he was hooked! It's taken me 3 years to unteach it and I still have to be very careful that he doesn't goose someone while I'm not paying attention.

My best friend back in CA liked to come over when I was at school and watch TV till I got home at night.
While watching one night when I had to hit the library for a research paper Sue, too, got the bright idea of teaching my female, Emma, to go to the French door fridge and get a can of beer out and bring it to her on the sofa, for which she would be rewarded with a sip or two of the beer.
I got home one night to find a whole six pack of punctured beer cans in the living room, beer all over everything, and Emma passed out on her dog bed.
I had to chain my fridge shut for 8 yrs.
Brilliant... :(((
