For the Record. I'm sorry for whatever I did. Sorry. Melissa Cato.

by LMH on 22 February 2007 - 18:02

Just in case it's me hodie---I have never had any problem with saying I'm sorry. If I hurt you in any way, that was never my intention. Please, come back. I'm allowing myself to answer for something I don't even know that I'm guilty of--and I answer to no one (well, Mother Theresa, if she was still alive--but that's it). Please reconsider.

I don't know Hodie. Never bought a dog from Hodie. Don't have the heart to send my girl away to be trained by anyone-not even Hodie. Hodie has no reason to expect any financial gain from me.

Yet, last week she looked at pictures of my dog because I was concerned about muscle mass. She conferred with me about several things via email.  She runs a business that seems to actually be several businesses in one (training, conditioning, boarding, etc.), trains her own dogs, hosts seminars, posts advice on this board, helps people like me who are totally clueless AND offered to help Misti with HER dog for FREE!

Wow, let me see if I can find the right way to phrase this....Oh, I got it.....anybody who would play a dumb ass game like not giving full disclosure to a professional who's being generous with her time, advice and resources CAN KISS MY HAIRLESS, LILLY WHITE ASS!!!!

Misti-where the HELL do you get off blaming HODIE, of all people, of having ulterior motives or of twisting the truth????  Believe me, if your HORSE SHIT has caused Hodie to leave this board I will be on your every post like white on rice or Spook on Brittany. Believe that.

YeeeeeeeeHawwwwwwww :o)~

Bottom line - Hodie is a dog person. Not many of them left. Most only care about their own dogs or breed while Hodie has a genuine love for all dogs and freely shares her knowledge with anyone who has a sincere interest.

Hodie, I know what it's like to get fed-up, having been there and done that recently myself. However, your contributions are too valuable and as you can see from the amount of posts supporting you, they are also very appreciated. I feel a sort of bond with you, for lack of a better word, for having collaborated with you in the efforts to send Carl's dog back to him after that placing fiasco. You showed the measure of who you are by putting aside the issues you had had and acting in the interests of the dog. We need more people like you in this breed and heaven knows this board desperately needs people like yourself. I hope you reconsider your decision.

Hodie is in my opinion the most knowledgable person on this board. I have only one time disputed what she said and that was on the Dyson Vacumme cleaners when she said they had 15 hp. And I know she meant 15 amps. Point being I have much respect for many on here but she is with out a doubt the most level headed, common sense, knowledgable person I have seen make contributions to this site. Her depth of understanding dogs is obvious. Having said that, if you are reading this I would like you to keep in mind an important principle, one that is more important then your greif over this site. And that is that the most important contributions we make in life may not be appreciated by all, at times maybe no one, and we may feel totally frustrated that no one is listening or learning, but it really is not about how we feel. It is about doing the right thing. Doing the right thing is more important than the reward. Most great contributers were not even recognized in their lifetime. Your insights are of too much value not share them, received or not. Hope you stay

OK...i guess this is what I get for being sick for a few days! Hodie, I truly hope that you reconcider. We've only had a few emails back and forth, and I will say that the Advice you gave me for my little boy really is helping alot! I don't know you, or anything about your background, but from what I see on here, you seem to give some really good advice. And you are about the only person willing to actually listen to HELP (privately or otherwise) a newbie! You make an effort to obtain ALL information before giving advice or judgement! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US!
