I have been following your posts and your litters, while your puppies might not be the best there but, with my humble knoweldge, I can recognize a smart person, you know the breed, you have the brains, you have a plan and that is exactly what makes a good breeder, a business manager or whatever. Your puppies have something good about them, a special touch maybe !, not only the physical details, but a personality, for example though last litter was not a 100% success in regards to color, each one of them has a special personality look, more than one had that look in their eyes. Most probably I didn't make much of sense 
In short, you are smart, no flattering intended, just a simple fact

I do try for something- a spark or that "something" you can't describe but you recognize it immediately when it's there.
I don't know what you or anyone else's "best" is, but I am pretty happy with the overall quality I've been able to achieve/maintain (I stared with pretty nice stock so I cannot take the credit for that). I suspect everyone has a different idea of "best."
