the potential for animal agression is certainly there but imprinting may be a bigger factor if that potential is realised. i don't hear of the apbt as being particularly aa dominant breed ie rank issues, i think it is idiots making fall that way. as i understand the dobe has good dose of terrier blood.

Does the German Pinscher (not to be confused with Miniature Pinscher) have the same health problems like the Dobermann ?
Maybe a good candidate to bring in some fresh blood in the Dobermann ?
