I would never use PineSol around animals even if it dried because it may become wet again. Plus I don't want to hurt all the toads my great fly catchers, that goes for using bleach as well.
OdoBan is good and it does disinfect and if the smell is not really bad then it is great. If the odor is really built up then KOE is the way to go.
I have both on hand, use the less expensive Odoban most of the time then when that seems to not quite do the job use the KOE.
We have a lot of blood here and the ground gets soaked and with the high dessert Sun it can become potent this combination works for me.

KOE I do not think is a disenfectant but this works better (www.petedge.com) than Odo ban and goes a longer way. More money but worth it. Pine sol is not safe. Top Performance® 256 Disinfectant and Deodorizer is a highly effective formula for cleaning and sanitizing pet cages, kennels, veterinary clinics, and more. Even kills canine parvovirus! This pet disinfectant is highly concentrated one gallon makes 256 gallons of cleaning solution.
