Well if everyone thought of the negatives like people are saying then no good charitable organization would every work.

Mystere if your going to say negative things then maybe you should have proof first not just speculation!

They are real and Im meeting Sheila tomorrow to donate a puppy.

Those who think this is real please donate if your able and stop being so negative!

How very odd (not to mention defensive) to describe telling people to check out charitable organizations as "negative."   Cry Smile     Some might even call that a "red flag."

Again, legitimate charitable organizations would, and SHOULD welcome scrutiny, so that potential donors do not end up being scammed by the miscreants...and become less likely to support legitimate organizations, as a result.  No reasonable, or honest, person would object to potential donors checking them out carefully.   Period.

I stand by my previous post.  I could care less who considers it "negative."

Yes, the above statement is absolutely true, and was my point, as well.

I hope this is a wonderful organization with an obvious, wonderful cause. As a potential donor, I want to know it also has a competent, dedicated board with frugal money managers who have access to any funding I might provide. The fact the non-profit status is pending is not a bad thing. It does mean that the regular channels for donor due diligence are not present, such as Guidestar or Foundation Center. Even if total donations are small enough to not be on those typical sites, then the need for program financials is a must for any serious donation request from a savvy donor to be considered. Accessing significant funding from other 501 (c) 3 foundations will not happen, without that.

Best wishes for the Warriors, their dogs and the committed people who carry out their mission.

Just meet Sheila and some veterans. I must say it was moving to see a convoy of trucks just roll up in front of my house to see several veterans step out. The first one I met was a Marine and I must say I always feel at home with my brothers next to me. It was tough getting out of the Marines in 2012 and I have had a very hard time adjusting to be a nasty civilian. Hell im sitting in my truck right now at work dreading going in because of the stupid bullcrap that goes on. If most people only new what we went through and STILL go through. Instead people point fingers and continue on with there normal day. Ever watch someone drive down the road in there convertable blasting music or college kids getting drunk having parties? Why do you think we have these freedoms? Because of the Veterans. Now the government has failed us and because of great people like Sheila we still have hope! Standing by and just talking does nothing. You must step out of the box and lend a hand. Donate if your able and if your not then show your respect for our brave men and woman and atleast send a card. But dont sit on here hiding behind a computer screen tearing others down from contributing to help a Veteran in need. I have nothing to hide and heres all my info. So to say I suggested a red flag is pure ignorance.
