that one I had was flooding the crate everytime I turned around! I said I cannot deal with this! both of the owners were Doctors but the previous Vet had not cultured the urine and that is the key just throwing amoxi at it did nothing but allow it to be slighly sub clinical until it got off the plane to come here and it was back with a fury , normally that breed is very clean , is he intact? if hes marking thats a whole other ball game and he needs a testiclectomy!!!

Hundmutter,
yes, he is the one with vision problems. He is a wonderful boy w/a sweet nature except this urine problem. I will take him in for a physical & start there. Thanks so much, I hadn't thought of that being part of this.
addressing other suggestion, his running space outside is pretty big, my house sits on the eqivelant of 4 country lots all fenced.
the danes can be overwhelming when one watches them play & they are rough & tumble types. The dae pup you rreferred to is now 1 year old (Feb 4th) & is an amazing girl. Beautiful, sleek & shiny black coat & completely in love with being spoiled in our house. She is still a little "head touching" shy with my son & I but snuggles with us on the floor & loves to play. Improvememt every day with lots of patience on our part. Thank you so much. Although I u derstand I must always get professional help in certain cases, this forum always offers a starting point that makes sense.
