OMG..my dog came in, no problems with transaction, communication, etc..AND the dog is OK

Glad to hear your girl is doing good. It is so nice to hear about a great experience like this one.... I am tired of all the negative stuff all the time..
As mentioned by several people already, I am glad you are giving your dog time to adjust..
So many people expect the dogs/pups to be as if nothing has happened at all. You try moving accross the world and tell me you wont be just a little bit unnerved.
Keep us updated on how your Mali is doing.

Here is an update on my mali girls progress. When she arrived at the airport it wasnt a pretty sight. Super thin, scared to death, wouldn't even walk out of the airport cargo area.
1 week later - we have been bonding steadily. No obeidience, just walking on the leash and taking her to town, giving her love and guidance. She now is pulling at the end of the leash, has been to the post office, grocery store, feed store, greets everyone with a wagging tail. At home her drives are starting to really kick in, bouncing everywhere, playing in the snow like a lunatic, and she appears to be really coming out of her shell. What a difference a week and a little patience makes!! She is a really nice pup. Thumbs up to Falcon K9 !!

I swear, some people make up these stories about how perfect & wild & happy their puppy or dog was coming off the 12 hr. plane ride or whatever for fear of ridicule if they tell the truth that the dog was a little disoriented or nervous due to this pervasive attitude that dogs must be bionic and utterly emotionless to be any good.
So again, kudos to Frank for patience and being secure enough to just tell the plain old truth.

How a dog or puppy reacts to an extensive flight depends on each dog or pup, how much real life prep as in have they ever seen anything other than home. Also, ability to cope is huge...some take the trip personal and some take it as just another adventure. I've sent and received pups that fit into both categories. The important thing is how they recover.
Glad your girl is doing well and that your are happy with her. Two thumbs up.
