i don't think it's any more of a challenge to keep a WL happy than keeping a SL or SL/WL cross happy on the ipo track. you may have to slot an extra couple of tug session in, if that. once you're doing obedience, tracking, bite work, in different training configs, multiple times per day just about every day, you'll be looking for the on switch, for the both of ya, pretty quick. regardless, check out the clubs/trainers you got in mind and see what's on the field. in my experience, you don't want to be the only one with the non-WL dog out there. not that it can't be done, it's just a heck of a lot harder especially the first time around.
the kali x amber pairing should give you balanced drives at the upper middle of the scale (e.g, on a scale of 0-10, i'd expect 6s and 7s across all drives for most offspring), which is far from 'crazy' but still plenty of dog power to get around and do well in all three ipo categories. obviously, there is going to be variance in the litter and it's paramount you have the necessary support to pick/have the pup selected. if you want to see what a 'kerninges' (heavy/robust/powerful/serious) breeding looks like, check out john ta's (haus dagger) quasimodo x kim pairing. obviously, not a suitable prospect pool to kick off your ipo career but oh so sweet. come to think of it, he, john that is, might be a good resource to add to your expert pool.

Thanks again bebo, i have just watched a couple of videos on quasimodo and it is as you said a impressive animal. His dogs seem very focused and prey driven looking at a few of his examples. But yes i agree for a first timer that would be a little to intense to begin!
As you mentioned i think a 6/7 dog would be suitable so its not OTT but the ability and brains are there as solid foundations.
Thanks again guys on i go with the research, just keep adding more and more to go through off all your input, its great and finiding some stunning dogs and amazing working abilities throughout.
Thanks allot.
