Here's a link to the news report of the court hearing for the former 'handler'.

Oh my God what sick people are amongst us! Poor dog, thank God he's out of their hands.

Granted, I had to use a translation app to read the article, but from the context, I got the impression that the guilty party--and he WAS found guilty, so there's no 'if he did it'--sneered at the person who recorded the act, telling that witness that if they reported him and got his charged for cruelty, they would be doing something that many have tried to do and failed. This would suggest that this miserable specimen of the human race was no stranger to what he was doing, and no stranger to doing it in front of witnesses who objected to his actions. Blessings on the courageous person who refused to be intimidated, continued recording the incident so there was irrefutable evidence, reported the abuse AND saw the whole process through to trial and conviction--too many people see such things and do nothing, either because they are afraid to get involved, or they feel helpless to do anything about what they're seeing.
Anja, hopefully someone here will have information as to who presently has Dolf and who has Don. Just to clarify--are you saying Dolf has been sold three more time after his initial sale to someone in the United States?

Good for her; made me
when I read he only didn't get a custodial
sentence because it wasn't a "criminal" matter, rather than because he's
69 already. Go figure how leaving burns on the animal doesn't count as
criminal.
I hope you find Dolf, Anja. And that you can check out Don too. It will
clearly give you peace of mind if you can find out they are being well
cared for; I do hope somebody comes forward with info on the present
location. Good luck.

Hey everone, it's been a while.
We are trying to track Dolf's whereabouts and have the support of the TGSDC which will network Dolfs story.
His Broker said that he is residing with a family but according to the SV the dog has been sold three times since he first arrived in the US. At least that is the information given by Anja herself.

I did not open the link from Hexi, call me chicken, but from her report, I hope the bastard suffers the same as dogs in his hands, before he gets to hell.

Something seems to be wrong here, German SV can´t know about selling 3 times in the States as long as people don´t send their name to SV - 3 times within 6 months? And all of them knew what to do? Very uncommon... you only need to do so, if you want to trial, show, or breed a dog!
I think the broker ( Dolf was sold to him by the former abuser, not by the breeder ) doesn´t want to tell the breeder to whom he sold this poor dog...
Does anybody of you have the possibility to see, if this dog was registered with AKC?

He does not appear to have been registered with the AKC yet.

Okay, then WHY should 3 different owners within 6 months inform the German SV about their ownership of said dog???
That´s weird!
