When picking out treats for my sister's dog I looked at the antlers the store had (Pestmart), they are way too hard! They are so thick I think that would be the issues of cracked teeth, why do they not have them cut length wise? Wouldn't that be better for the dog's teeth?

Some sell them cut down the middle, the ar still hard on the outside, but at least with them cut they can get some of the stuff out. My dogs don't really care for them. The cut ones a little . but they are pricey.

Beau would chomp them up when he had them. Must be that out in Montana I guess, you can just go pick them up off the ground. Out here in the East, the cost is exorbitant and even I won't be paying that much for a good chew, if he'll be happy with a whole bag of hooves.
