I figure if I won around 1 M in the state lottery I could get  me one of those lifetime lifts like Debbi Boone, some lyposuction, silicon uppers, better hair, whiter teeth, and tighter buns. Men have pills to take care of their, uh...shortcomings. It's a man's world.

Glenlivet, a single malt, very nice aroma and crisp taste, after the burn settles, no after taste.
Don't drink much, so a couple of shots are enough for me.

It's not so much what you look like, you worry too much about that, it's how you present yourself, attitude, personality.
Oh. and go easy on the smelly stuff, less is always better than more, subtle.


 

I'll never forget this line I read in a John Updike novel about the collapse of US Society in the future. As the fabric of Society crumbled in bits and pieces all around, it was the FEDX system that held any last vestiges of cohesiveness. At the same time the old man and his wife main characters, suffer their marital crisis. He hooks up with this much younger babe when it appears his wife is not coming home any more. He makes a comment about washing that "old man smell" off, and no matter what scouring he does, the wash cloths he uses, his own smell and his thoughts are what sticks to him. I forget the name of the book, LOL

 

That's a good one, Moons. I am too pedestrian to be able to tell the difference between a good scotch and a great scotch; after the first jigger, they all taste the same to me.I used to like Dewars straight up or with water.

I am a guy, not so good, but not so bad either.
i can't remember how many years I've been married, thirty something I think.

One of nature tricks is stealing your memories as you grow old, maybe it was how i lived my life I dunno, perhaps it's been thirty three years.
I say I have one of the best, so we're both very lucky people.

I am trapped here inside, and there is no escape, no turning back, no one even knows it's me. 
So I'm here for the ride I guess, I can no longer see myself in the mirror, and here I'll stay until it ends or I get off.

Time deceives us all through our lives, first it seems to last forever and doesn't matter, then you begin to count the days thinking it does matters.
Later, when you look back and wonder where it went, and you ask yourself did any of it matter at all, to anyone.

Hopefully the answer is yes, because in the end, that's all that really matters.
