From the sound of things the dog is normal and healthy and i would hops have great x-rays. But even a mild dyaslastic that is well exercised will still move well into her old age.
I would seek out a vet familiar with doing OFA x-rays because they do need to be positioned correctly. My last set cost me $90 for hips and elbows and me vet shoots them until they are right. He doesn't send in crap. Also it's nice ot have a vet with experience with hip films so you have a fair idea of what your sending in.

Thank you all.. I just thought I'd ask here, since there is so much experience from everyone here to be learned.. I was just reading up online, and there is all kinds of different theories in taking good xrays, causes of dysplasia, ect.. And Moons, stop picking on my hairy girl!! LoL

My advice is to go to a vet who is used to doing hip & elbow xrays I travel 2 hours each way for my dogs and I also work for a country vet,
