Wouldn't GSDCA be involved since the WDA falls under them? Or do I have this all wrong?

That's what makes it interesting. The GSDCA-WDA is not a WUSV member. The GSDCA and USCA are WUSV members in the US. The WUSV approached USCA with the request the the GSDCA-WDA be recognized as a WUSV member over the scorebook issue and the request was accepted. Typically the GSDCA and the GSDCA-WDA co-host German Style events as is being done in Philadelphia with the WUSV World Championship. The WUSV Sieger Show is being billed as a GSDCA-WDA only event. The real WUSV members apparently are not involved.
