momosgarage: thankyou for the yogurt idea! My Mal was a picky eater but is now doing well on his kibble. I add a little parmesan cheese on some days, just a sprinkle to make it interesting. Every other day I also add some tuna packed in water.

I just add warm water to my pups food. I am currently feeding him the Orijen large breed kibble. I do add a small amount of Probios (probiotics) to his food. Wont do this for much longer. I just did it for a week, since I just got him and he is a young pup.

My female Xena, gets Wild Alaskan salmon oil, SeaMeal and Adult vitamin added to her evening meal.

A question for those who supplement - will your dogs eat their kibble without all the additions?

My dog would eat the broad side of a battle ship. All of my bulldogs have been like that. So if they refused food i knew we were in big trouble. Payne will happily eat her TOTW Buffalo just fine. But a friend gifted me a 5 lb bag of Missing Link, which with one dog takes a while to go through. And i won a awesome gift basket with a bunch of different flavors of dehydrated foods from Honest Kitchen. And i use a vitamin supplement because one of the top bulldog breeders i know swears by it and he has more OFA Excellent Am Bulldog than just about any other kennel anywhere. And a Corso breeder i know always swears by this stuff. So what the heck! Worth a try you know? And in the past my dogs have never gotten less then OFA Good.
But i have on occasion just put straight kibble in her bowl and it was clean a few minutes later.

Springtime Garlic, Coconut Oil and Kefir that is a given. No longer do Flaxseed or Fishoil since Coconut Oil does a better job than the other two combined.

Other than that, whatever is available. They specifically love baby carrots, water melon, apples, bananas, cucumber etc.

Springtime Bug Off Garlic Powder for Tick and Flee Prevention.

Coconut Oil for varius health reasons.

Kefir should be self explanatory. However here is a link to why Kefir is beneficial.

ps: have not had a single tick this year. The cost of Springtime Bug Off is a fraction of what Advantix would cost me for four dogs. All of them are lime negative. For us, it works and I'm a lot out and about with them.

As for veggies and fruit, i just feed what they like and the favorites are baby carrots, cucumber and water melon.

What is the purpose of floating the kibble in water?  I've never heard of this.
