I remember growing up, my male Galicenio had a love affair with a dainty Gurnsey, and many times we would find the two of them off in a corner in their own little world.  They would stand next to each other swatting flies, Buttercup the cow would clean Amigo's face, and Amigo would nibble on her neck, face, and back.  When I would take Amigo riding, Buttercup would call to him as we approached the barn and almost be dancing when he would be turned back into the pasture, same when she was taken for milking, Amigo would dance and neigh.  They would sleep together and wander around the field eating grass together.  When all the horses and cows were fed, Amigo would let her eat first and chase away anyone bothering her and Buttercup would do the same, sometimes letting Amigo eat first.  Buttercup had a calf and Amigo was like a proud pappa.  It was crazy and sweet.  Buttercup was so depressed the day Amigo died, she would not come out of "their" corner, not even to eat and eventually was put down because no one could get her to eat or come into the barn in bad weather, she lost weight and became ill, she would call for him for hours on end and it was the most heart breaking sound.

I tried to post the picture I had of them but for some reason the format must not be acceptable.
