OR Dashhound and Chinese Crested

Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) + Alaskan Klee Kai = This
5 year old rescued dog.
Who knew that both recessive and dominant hairless genes existed in canines.

Cute - but why is it wearing a mantilla in the last pic ?
Didn't some other breeds go into the mix comparatively recently
when developing the Klee Kai ? Which would strictly speaking make
this dog something of a mutt, I doubt its siblings would all turn
out exactly like this one ?
I'm with Melba on the Chupacabra, those eyes freak me out !

Okay, you made me google "Chupacabra"! I learn something new everyday on this site. Being a Northern gal, I had never before heard of these mysterious "goat suckers"!

I've seen pure bred Xolos with blue eyes, so they don't need Klee Ki's to get that gene. I'll have to scan the photo from the book because i don't see one available online.
Cute dog.
Cute dog.

Ahhh there you go! The one i have a photo of is pure black hairless standard and he has blue eyes. So no need to cross with those nasty little Klee Kai! :p

'Fry, why 'nasty' ?

Because every one i have met is a mean little M~N~ F'er. They are cute but not at all friendly. Hell, one bit the hell out of my bulldog pup when i turned her around so he could sniff her rear end. Instead he nailed her in the back of the leg. Next time she saw him in class she jumped up on a folding picnic table to get away from him. And Payne is not at all dog aggressive. That little shit hurt her feelings!
I'm not a lover of spitz breeds but these little monsters are bottom of the barrel for me. They are nasty!
