Really, if you just got him for a companion, doesn't make much difference to him. He looks like a really nice pup!

Judging from parentage .. some sort of sable when all is said and done .. dark tips with light undercoat after he matures but still a light colored sable.

The breeder vom Blake also has Belgian Tevurean along with 12 other breeds of dogs .. perhaps you got a GSD/Belgian Tevurean mix or a Belgian Tevurean .. whatever the dog is if he has a good head and a good heart .. enjoy him.

Is this the breeder?? The sire was a vom Blake dog.

He has that generic shepherd look. I see 'em like that from time to time. Washed out tan dog, little to almost no black markings. Usually they have she whitish undercoat that shows up as they get older. Doesn't look like a mal other then the color.
CKC is a bullshit registry. Mastly used by puppy millers and back yard breeders. They will register a chicken with ears taped to it's head as long as you send your cash. Basically the papers are worthless. Hopefully the dog is healthy and your enjoying him. Have him fixed when he's old enough because he's not breeding material.

You have a pure bred GSD. The coloring is washed out.

The breeder was Brandon Blake and he has his facebook group called K9 by Blake. There he had the same pic of my puppy's litter with a caption of Neka's puppies. Well, I go on his Youtube channel, and Neka is a Malinois. I asked him about it but he is making all types of reasons why he is a GSD and not a Malinois.

No matter what he is, I am going to love this puppy. We bonded pretty well. And, we enjoy doing a lot of things together. Already, we have started schutzhund training. He is doing well in each part of it. He is really good with commands.

Well, for what it's worth, if your pup's dam IS Akira, and not Neika, her dam has the same colouration as your pup:

I'd be pretty ticked off if I was sold a GSD, and it turned out to be a mix.

Just out of curiosity, what did you pay for her? A mixed breed should sell for much less than a purebred.

Your puppy is likely just as advertised. The only red flag I see is that the breeder has 13 breeds under one roof on his website ?? Dogs are very creative when it comes to their love lives. At least if all his dogs were GSD you could be relatively sure the puppy is purebred GSD. Unless you plan to use him for breeding it does not matter however. As a teenager my family had a GSD/Chow mix who was a fantastic, loving, and great dog despite anyone you ask telling you that the GSD/Chow mix is poison and to be avoided. Very often like humans it is how they are raised that determines much of their personality.
