clc 29 zfarm (who ever you are)
I know who Kevin S is. I even went to a Bernhard Flinks seminar at his club. I just don't get how you can dis "sport trainers" when that is part of what Kevin does? Lots of noobs regurgitate the "there's a difference between real work and sport work" mantra BUT in the end biting is biting and a good trainer is a good trainer

Thomas,....I never said these men were bad trainers and I'm not sure how you equate Kevin's much higher level of experience with putting sport trainers down.
As for your other comments.....I'm not going to comment on them.
In case you didn't see it before my name is Cheri...and I'm only clc29 not Zigenfarm.

Cheri,
How many other trainers have you worked with? How many dogs have you trained either sport or PP that would give your recommendation any value? Has Flinks been back to Albuquerque recently?
The OP is in Tucson which is why he wanted feedback on the two Arizona trainers and not a trainer 450 miles away in Albuquerque.
It would be like me saying go work with Bart Bellon in Europe or Michael Ellis in California

Thomas,
LOL.......Your right.....I am a novice handler...since 2010. I've never stated or implied otherwise.
In answer to your questions......I've been to a (2010) Bernard Flinks seminar, attended the 2012 WUSV in Austria, watched Michael Ellis Train, and have trained and train with two trainers......Kevin and my SAR trainer. I'm currently training two dogs.
Honestly....I don't care if you or anyone else on this forum ignores my advice, recommendations, or comments. They are always honestly given To the best of my knowledge and intention.....if you choose to ignore it.....that's your right and loss.
Cheri
FYI.....we are hosting Bernard again this fall.
